While students continued making progress on their projects, this past week reminded us that some of the best memories are made outside the classroom as well.
The highlight of the week was undoubtedly Friday night's annual COSMOS Lip Sync Battle. After countless evening rehearsals, every cluster took the stage with incredible energy, creativity, and pride. Congratulations to Cluster 8 for earning first place, Cluster 10 for taking second, and Cluster 13 for securing third! Every performance was a testament to the teamwork, enthusiasm, and sense of community that make COSMOS such a special experience.
The excitement didn't stop there. Last weekend, students enjoyed a well-deserved trip to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, taking in the rides, ocean breeze, and time with friends before diving back into another busy week of classes. Saturday also brought another favorite COSMOS tradition, the COSMOS Olympics, where clusters competed in a variety of sports and challenges that showcased collaboration, teamwork, and plenty of friendly competition.
Now, with just one week remaining, we look forward to celebrating the culmination of everyone's hard work. Best of luck to all of our clusters as they prepare to present the projects they've spent the past four weeks developing. Here's to an unforgettable finish to COSMOS 2026!
