Breakfast (8/10): Chia pudding bowl
The chia pudding was coconut-flavored and complimented with the fruit, however, the blueberries and peaches clashed a bit texture-wise. Fortunately, the mango and coconut flavors blended well.
There are also a myriad of other options, including daily hot entrees, which included eggs and potatoes, along with toast, bagels, and muffins.
Lunch (7/10): Chicken, naan, and rice
This meal was flavorful and not too dry. In terms of greens, you can customize your own salad at the salad bar every day at lunch and dinner!
Sweet treat (9/10): Tiered truffle cake
This cake was a little sweet and tasted like the Trader Joe’s or Costco layered tuxedo cake. However, the mousse was smooth and the flavors were well-balanced.
Dinner (7/10): SPAM fried rice, lasagna, and fruit
For dinner, I got SPAM fried rice, a piece of vegetarian lasagna, and some fruit. Surprisingly, the lasagna was good, albeit dry. The fried rice was also decently flavorful.

Breakfast (9/10): Chia pudding bowl
While I didn’t eat everything in the photo (some of these dishes were my roommates’), I do appreciate the range of options provided for breakfast. Today, I had a chia pudding bowl with mangoes and strawberries, as the flavors complimented each other nicely. While the waffles seemed a little dry on the inside and soggy on the outside, the muffins, which had a myriad of flavors, were enjoyable. The scrambled eggs were cooked just right, but I’d avoid the hard-boiled ones because they’re somewhat crumbly and dry.
Lunch (6/10): Kimchi fried rice, meat, tofu, and salad
Today’s lunch was kimchi fried rice with meat, tofu, and vegetables, with a side of salad. The hot entrees were average—but while the cauliflower was dry and bland, the rice, meat, and tofu were cooked nicely, creating an excellent blend of textures. For dessert, I got chocolate ice cream from the soft serve machine and topped it with Reese’s Pieces, Oreos, and marshmallows, an addition that really enhanced the chocolate flavor.
Dinner (6/10): Noodles, soup, and vegetables
For dinner, I ate General Tso’s mushrooms, which had a touch of sweetness and, surprisingly, tasted like meat. The steamed broccoli was decent, and the noodles reminded me of chow mein (with the perfect amount of flavor). I also got a bowl of beef chili, which was one of the soups offered. While the flavors were average, the soup was more watery than I expected. For dessert, I had a slice of black forest cake. The chocolate cake, cherry sauce, and whipped cream creates a nice trio of flavors, even though the cake itself was a little dry on its own. Overall, I’d rate this a 6/10; while I was pleasantly surprised by the mushrooms, I was somewhat disappointed by the chili.
