And just like that, we’ve reached the halfway point of COSMOS!
As we wrap up our second week, students across the clusters have continued diving deeper into their fields of study while making memories outside the classroom. From exploring research facilities and laboratories on various cluster field trips to kayaking together over the weekend, this week was filled with opportunities to learn, connect, and experience something new.
Friday night brought another highlight: the COSMOS talent show, where students from across the program came together to share their creativity and talents. It was a wonderful reminder that while COSMOS is centered around science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, the community we build along the way is just as important.
With two weeks down and two more to go, we are officially halfway through the program! As students continue working on their final projects and making the most of their time at UC Santa Cruz, we can’t wait to see what the second half of COSMOS has in store.
