In Media Literacy, students explore the differences between journalism, social media, opinion, advertising, and AI-generated content while developing the critical reading and thinking skills needed to become informed digital citizens.
Students will learn how to evaluate sources, identify misinformation and bias, recognize AI-generated content, and conduct ethical research without plagiarizing. Through hands-on projects, they'll become content creators by writing opinion pieces, producing news articles, and creating their own podcasts while practicing responsible communication and storytelling.
This class helps students develop the tools to question, analyze, create, and communicate with confidence.
