I will demonstrate all critical cues for shooting.
Fitness: I will remain actively engaged at the intensity needed to raise my heart rate and accumulate MVPA (Moderate to Vigorous Physical Activity) minutes.
Personal & Social Responsibility: I will personally exhibit and be able to discuss the importance of responsible behaviors and using positive language to encourage my teammates while avoiding trash talk or negative criticism.
WHY We Are Learning It
Demonstrate responsibility, acceptance, and respect for others while combining dribbling and shooting skills to sustain MVPA for a period of time.
Work independently to improve basketball skills while demonstrating responsibility by using equipment and space appropriately.
To shoot on goal with accuracy in a dynamic environment as appropriate to the activity.
Explain the importance of fitness components and how to improve skills in/out of class.
