The Dashboard is the central interface that first appears after logging into the EpiTrax Surveillance System. It is designed to contain all the tasks and data relevant to conducting public health functions that have been assigned to you.
The User Dashboard is the first screen to display after logging into the EpiTrax Surveillance System. It is highly customizable and designed to provide a snapshot of all relevant Tasks and other data needed for investigations.
1. DASHBOARD LINK (EpiTrax Logo)
Clicking the EpiTrax Logo navigates back to the User Dashboard from any screen.
2. USER GREETING
The greeting name is the name in the General User Information Form in SETTINGS.
3. APPLICATION MENU
Menu options vary based on implementation and user access.
4. TASKS TAB
Default Dashboard tab (pictured in screenshot) displaying snapshot of assigned tasks.
5. MY TASK SCHEDULE TAB
Displays tasks in calendar view.
6. VIEW OPTIONS
Opens additional view options for the User Dashboard.
7. TASKS PAGINATION (Page Navigation)
Allows navigation by page when current tasks exceed a single screen.
8. SEARCH RESULT COLUMNS
Information on tasks returned by search. Click to sort by column.
9. CASE NUMBER LINKS
Case numbers are linked to the corresponding Person Record. Click to sort.
10. EDIT TASK
Click the edit pencil to edit the record on the corresponding row.

The Application Menu is the central navigation component that is visible from nearly all screens within the EpiTrax Surveillance System. The options available in this menu will vary based on user access permissions.
New CMR
Check for existing CMR record and if none found, add a new one.
Events
Search events and apply bulk workflows using highly customizable event views.
Outbreaks
Search, add, edit and share outbreak data.
Facilities
Search and export facility and provider information. Administrators can also add and edit.
CMR Search
Suite of tools for basic and advanced record searches. Also includes export options.
Exports
Create and save custom exports for data within the EpiTrax application.
People
Locate person records including non-CMR Contacts within EpiTrax.
Merge
Optional enhancement for custom EpiTrax implementations with CasePointer.
AVR
Analysis, visualization and reporting feature connected to EpiTrax.
Admin
Administrator- level options for managing users, configurations and other data.
Resources
Optional enhancement providing quick links to helpful resources for investigators.
Settings
Update user information and alerts. Includes logout option for EpiTrax.
