Within EpiTrax, editing a CMR record takes place in the Edit Morbidity Event screen. This page contains steps to access this screen. Overviews of the Edit Morbidity Event Tabs can be found on the following pages.
IMPORTANT: There are multiple ways to access the Edit Morbidity Event screen for a CMR record. The most common involve searching for the record, then clicking the Edit button to the right of the result row.
ACCESS EDIT MORBIDITY EVENT FROM NEW CMR SCREEN
Click the NEW CMR link in the Application Menu of EpiTrax
If no option for NEW CMR, ensure you are logged into EpiTrax, and click the EpiTrax logo (upper left) to navigate from the home screen.
Click Search to check for existing records of patient data
You do not have to fill in all fields to perform a search. If data is entered incorrectly in any field, it will be outlined red after clicking Search.
Click the Record Number of the result row you want to edit
This will open the Edit Morbidity Event Screen for that record.
ACCESS EDIT MORBIDITY EVENT FROM CMR SEARCH SCREEN
Click the CMR SEARCH link in the Application Menu of EpiTrax
This step takes you to the CMR Search Screen.
Click Search to check for existing records of patient data
You can use a Basic Search or Advanced Search to locate records from this screen.
Click the Record Number of the result row you want to edit
This will open the Edit Morbidity Event Screen for that record.
ACCESS EDIT MORBIDITY EVENT FROM PEOPLE SCREEN
Click the PEOPLE link in the Application Menu of EpiTrax
This step takes you to the People Screen.
Click Search to check for existing records of patient data
You do not have to fill in all fields to perform a search. If data is entered incorrectly in any field, it will be outlined red after clicking Search.
Click the Record Number of the result row you want to edit
This will open the Edit Morbidity Event Screen for that record.

ACCEPT EVENT BUTTON
Click this button to accept the event for your Local Public Health Department (LPHA).
PRINT RECORD BUTTON
Provides options to print the record data.
SAVE & CONTINUE
Saves the record but stays in it
(remains locked).
SAVE & EXIT
Ensures that all work is saved
ACCEPT INVESTIGATION BUTTON
Click to accept investigations assigned to you.
PRINT RECORD BUTTON
Provides options to print the record data.
SAVE & CONTINUE
Saves the record but stays in it (remains locked).
SAVE & EXIT
Ensures that all work is saved and the
record is unlocked.
FORCE UNLOCK BUTTON
Forces the user currently in record to exit. See CMR Locked troubleshooting steps.
FORCE UNLOCK & EDIT BUTTON
Forces the user currently in record to exit and opens it for you to edit. See CMR Locked.
PRINT RECORD BUTTON
Provides options to print the record data.
SAVE & CONTINUE
Saves the record but stays in it (remains locked).
SAVE & EXIT
Ensures that all work is saved and the
record is unlocked.
COMPLETE INVESTIGATION BUTTON
Click this button to mark the investigation status
as complete in EpiTrax.
PRINT RECORD BUTTON
Provides options to print the record data.
SAVE & CONTINUE
Saves the record but stays in it
(remains locked).
SAVE & EXIT
Ensures that all work is saved and the
record is unlocked.
