This training provides a fundamental introduction to the EpiTrax system and walks you through the account setup process. Designed for the full transition to EpiTrax in a production environment, this module is required for access to the official system, which will go live in 2024.

Background
These trainings consist of short video walkthroughs that provide step-by-step guidance on various EpiTrax processes and topics. This flexible approach enables you to select modules most relevant to your needs and learn about specific topics concisely and hands-only. The exception is the first 'EpiTrax Walkthrough' video, which is an hour-long overview of the whole EpiTrax site.

EpiTrax Walkthrough
Description:
This video gives a walkthrough of the EpiTrax site, providing an overview of navigating the system from the main menu. It also describes the purpose of each of the main menu tabs and shows some of the functionality within.

Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS) Integration
Description:
This module explains how vaccination information from Colorado's official vaccination registry, CIIS, integrates into confidential morbidity reports (CMRs).

Saving, User Timeout, & CMR Lockout
This module goes over best practices and troubleshooting of common issues, including saving, timing out of the system, Person lockouts, and denied access to records.

Managing Tasks
Being assigned a task in EpiTrax is different from being assigned a case. This training goes over how to utilize the tasks feature of EpiTrax.
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand how to navigate the tasks dashboard
2. Update a task view and set a default for your dashboard
3. Explore the ‘My Scheduled Tasks’ tab
4. Learn how to assign tasks within a CMR, both to yourself and to another staff

People
The people tab is an area of EpiTrax that will allow you to see profile-level and aggregated CMR information. This training will go over when and how to use this tab.

Exports
You can use the Exports tab to get data out of EpiTrax. This training will cover how to create, edit, and manage your exports, which are custom queries that can be filtered to give you the needed information in a CSV file.

Identify what data you will be able to get out of EpiTrax in an export based on your permissions.
Create an export and select filters for variables you want to export

Demographics
This module will describe the various pieces of a CMR file. When opening a CMR, you will see four menus and an open demographics tab. This training will cover navigating the menus and entering demographic information into the first tab of a CMR.
Learning Objectives:
Explore the menus and fields found on the demographics page in a CMR
Enter an address, birth date, race, and other essential demographics into the fields
Save demographic information
Understand that DOB, Gender, Ethnicity, and Race are considered critical surveillance indicators
