Select this option if:
You are a new user and need an EpiTrax account. Please complete this mandatory training before requesting
You need to request the deactivation of an account
You would like to request a change to your user access settings
Please review the following steps prior to requesting a new user account.
The individual needing access must complete the mandatory EpiTrax user training here
The manager of the new user should complete the REDCap form (linked below) to request access and specify what type of access the user will need.
The access team will verify training completion and the new user will receive an account setup email that must be completed within 1 day.
If the account setup email expires, or the user needs support with the process, please email the support team at CDPHE_epitrax_support@state.co.us
Public Health staff with accounts already established in EpiTrax UAT prior to May 13, 2024 should request access through the REDCap form below, as a new user, if they do not have access to EpiTrax Production on May 13th.

User roles in EpiTrax ensure users have access to the cases and workflows applicable to their work. Please contact CDPHE_EpiTraxUserAccess@state.co.us if you need to modify user permissions for your agency.
Determine if this case assigned to their jurisdiction really belongs to them or a different jurisdiction (Accept or Route to another LPHA).
Assign an Investigator and/or create a “Task” for staff. Investigators can also assign accepted events to themselves or colleagues.
Approve the case once the investigation has been completed (passing it on for State approval before the case is closed).
Only one user can edit a case at a time and when a case is being edited it is “Locked”. A manager can “Force Unlock” an event to allow a different user to edit the event.
Investigate cases that have been determined to belong to their jurisdiction.
Have cases assigned to them and/or tasks created for cases that they need to investigate.
Complete all parts of the investigation until they mark it as complete which then prompts a manager to review.
Allow view only access to cases.
Access to export data as needed.
Eventually access the AVR module where we plan to publish visualizations.
Manually create cases.
Update existing cases.
Perform routine data cleaning functions (including routing cases to a different jurisdiction).
Only view and edit cases that are assigned to them.
Complete contact tracing for assigned cases within the Contact tab.
