SUMMER PICNIC CLASS REPRESENTATIVES NEEDED

The St. Albert Picnic Committee is looking for parents from each class to be a part of the committee. This is a great way to get involved and meet new people in the parish community while having a great time. The Saint Albert Viking 5k is June 15th at 7:00pm

Grab the whole family (and your running shoes) to come kick off the picnic weekend! The Saint Albert Viking 5K will take place on Thursday, June 15th at 7:00pm

Used Book Sale

The Library will have a used book sale May 15-19! Hardback books will be $1 and paperback books will be 50 cents. Students will be able to shop the sale during their Library classes that week.

Archery Team This week

The St. Albert Archery Team has an exciting week ahead!  


Tuesday, May 9th our team will be featured on WDRB in the Morning with Keith Kaiser (interviews are at :20 & :50 past the hour starting at 5:20AM)!  We will be in the St. Albert gym showing Keith how to shoot safely and effectively while having a little fun too.  Check it out prior to school start time.


Both the Elementary Team and Middle School Team qualified for the NASP Eastern National Tournament last month at the Kentucky State Tournament.  We are excited to be included in the 15,200 archers headed to the Fairgrounds starting Thursday this week.  Our Middle School Team (6th - 8th Grades) shoot Thursday at 4:15 PM and the Elementary Team (4th-5th Grades) shoot Saturday morning at 8:30 AM.  


CONGRATULATIONS to BOTH of our teams who contributed to get our teams to the National Tournament!  GO VIKINGS!

Don't miss our final 6-week STEM Club of the school year! Our team is planning some exciting things for the spring session, including Lego Robotics, the science of soap-making, building solar cars, and making homemade bouncy balls!

Homework Club, Grades 6-8

St. Albert the Great is pleased to announce an after school program, Homework Club, developed for students currently in grades 6-8 who are challenged by completing their homework in a timely manner, need additional assistance with assignments, and or need to to prepare for tests and quizzes.

Homework Club is a structured environment where students will receive small group attention and motivation in a warm and encouraging atmosphere. 

The goal of Homework Club is to help students become resourceful and proactive learners.  Students will become empowered to take charge of their academics and learn the art of successful study habits.  

Homework Club will be mentored by Deanna O'Keefe

Club participation is limited to 12 students per day.

Assumption High School Summer Camps

We are excited to announce that our 2023 summer camp schedule is now open! This year, Assumption is offering over 40 fun-filled enrichment and athletic sessions, including 13 new camps to girls and boys in grades K – 9. Our goal is for each camper to have an exciting, safe summer, and build new friendships. We hope your family will be able to take advantage of these opportunities!
