Senior Privileges 2026-2027
With the approval of the student’s caregiver, seniors may apply for certain privileges that are not available to underclassmen. These privileges are contingent on maintaining appropriate behavior and may be withheld or suspended at any time, at the discretion of the administration. Decisions regarding the suspension of privileges will be made on a case-by case basis. If a student is approved for these privileges, the following rules must be followed.
In every respect, Senior Privileges shall be considered a privilege and responsibility. Any student whose actions demonstrate they are incapable of assuming this responsibility will lose their privileges, and their caregiver will be notified.
Students must have signed caregiver permission to be granted Senior Privileges, even if they are over 18 years old.
Students must have completed 30 hours of community service before the start of their senior year. After completing the hours, the student may resubmit for senior privileges.
Students must maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher by the first progress report, October 2, 2026.
Students must have two (2) or fewer unexcused absences by the first progress report and each progress report thereafter.

Progress report dates are as follows:
October 2, 2026
November 20, 2026
January 15, 2027
February 19, 2027
April 16, 2027
June 14, 2027
Students must have zero class cuts
Students who violate the disciplinary code of conduct will lose privileges for the remainder of the semester based on the severity of the disciplinary action. Students may lose senior privileges for the remainder of the school year based on administrative discretion.
Students released from school for senior privileges must leave school grounds after signing out from the main office. Loitering on school grounds is not permitted.
First offense: 2-week suspension of privileges
Second offense: 30 day suspension of privileges or remainder of the semester, whichever is longer
Third offense: Senior Privileges are revoted for the remainder of the school year
Students are permitted to leave school grounds for lunch. Students must sign out/in of the building in the main office. When leaving and returning. Students are expected to arrive in their classes on time. ***Please note***If you locked your cell phone or other personal devices up in your advisor's classroom, you will not have access to them. Per the state law, cell phones and other personal devices are to be stored away and not allowed from bell to bell.
Seniors who take underclassmen, or knowingly take seniors who do not have seniors privileges, off-campus will lose their privileges.
First offense: 2-weeks suspension
Second offense: 30 days or the remainder of the semester, whichever is longer
Third offense: Senior Privileges are revoked for the remainder of the school year
Special Notes:
All Seniors must attend school-wide assemblies
Administration reserves the right to revoke Seniors Privileges if it is determined to be in the student’s best interest.
