Overview of Google Apps
Once you've successfully logged in to Google Apps, please see our guides to Google Apps basics.
Students have access G Suite (formerly Google Apps for Education) accounts with a few restrictions, including no G-mail. (Student e-mail is provided through Outlook in Office 365)
Before teachers start using their G Suite Google Apps for Education account, they must go through the process of doing a password change, but DO NOT NEED to choose a different password. You only have do this step one time. To do that process, watch the video or follow the instructions below.
You will see a note saying that your password is changed. Now you can sign-in to Google Apps.
(For information on handling previously created accounts with your Spartanburg 2 address, see this video.)
Remember that you will not have Gmail.
If you had the option to use a nickname rather than your official first name in your email address, your Google account may not work.
Try signing in with your actual first name. Example:
William Smith has the email address bill.smith@spart2.org
The email address does not work in Google Apps after doing the password change outlined above.
Try william.smith@spart2.org
Please contact Kevin or Jason if you have any further questions.
