What is included with the projector?

How to Use the Board

The projector does not need to be connected to any source to be used as a white board. Simply turn on the projector, touch the board, and the toolbar will pop up for basic whiteboard use.

Projector Control Toolbar

Some remote functions can be found on the screen. These functions vary depending on the model of the projector. Access the projector control toolbar by touching the board. The toolbar will pop up in the bottom right of the screen. You may have to touch the triangle to expand the toolbar.

595 Model

  • Power off the projector

  • Select source

  • Zoom

  • Turn off picture and sound (No Show)

  • Freeze the screen

  • Volume down

  • Volume up

  • Minimize

695 Model

  • Display home screen

  • Print the projected image

  • Save the projected image to USB

  • Share the projected image

  • Select source

  • Zoom

  • Turn off picture and sound (No Show)

  • Pause (Freezes the screen)

  • Volume

  • Project two images from different sources

  • Set timer

  • Document camera

  • Power off

  • Minimize

After physically connecting devices to the projector, you can choose which device you want to display to the projector. Typically, this will be the teacher computer. You can cycle through sources with the “Source Search” button. This is also how you would find an Apple TV or any other device connected to the computer.

Computer Use: Two Modes

Before using the projector with the computer, make sure both the USB and HDMI cables are plugged into the computer or docking station.

Your projector can be used in PC Free Annotation Mode and PC Interactive Mode. To switch between the two, touch the board and you will see this image. The pen and projector icon is PC Free Mode. The computer and mouse icon is the PC Interactive Mode.

PC Free Annotation Mode

Annotation Mode

  • Draw over image that is projected.

Whiteboard Mode

  • White screen that you can draw on.

PC Interactive Mode

  • Computer is interactive.

  • Interact with computer using pens or your finger.

  • Software will need to be accessed in order to write on the board.
