Olin 124 and 126 have similar projector systems with one minor difference. Olin 124 has both the projector and four TVs, while Olin 126 only has the single projector. The TV function will be explained further on.
To begin using the projector system in Olin 124 or 126, push the “Proj On/Off” button on the top left of the button pad. Wait for the system to fully power on and for the screen to come down before connecting any devices or changing inputs.
After the system has fully powered on, you will be able to connect your laptop via the HDMI/USB-C connection. Plug this in and check that your screen flickers. This shows that your computer has recognized the projector system and vice-versa. Resolutions for issues will be further in the guide.
Once the systems have recognized each other, push the “Laptop” button, or whichever input you need, to change to said input.
Now that the projector system is on and the input has been selected, it’s time to check that the laptop settings are correct.
On Mac, click on your Volume icon, the Control Center icon in the top right on your Menu Bar.
Alternatively, open System Settings, then click Sound.
