Computer labs are accessible to students, staff, and faculty. All lab machines require an SUeID and password to sign in. Both Windows and macOS labs are available with different software installed depending on the lab.

Microsoft Office is available with your Southwestern account. Click the link below to get your copy of Office 365 at no cost.
SPSS is provided by the university at no cost to students. Use the link below to sign into the Techdeck site, click on Downloads, then click on the version of SPSS you need (Windows or macOS) and click Download.
NOTE:You will need a license key in order to use SPSS. Please submit a ticket to techdeck@southwestern.edu to receive one.
Autodesk offers full versions of AutoCAD, 3DSMax, Maya, and more at no cost to students. Click the link below to set up your free Autodesk Student account.
Unfortunately, the university does not have a license for Adobe Creative Cloud for student machines. Adobe CC is available for student use on all computer lab machines on campus.

Moodle is the main way in which students engage with their classes including viewing syllabi, submitting assignments, and completing quizzes/tests. Moodle provides great learning, teaching, and research experiences that are available to any student, faculty, or staff member.

Your Southwestern email is also a Google account, meaning you have access to G-Suite apps such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and more.
Your university email is accessed through Gmail. You can find it through the mySouthwestern portal or by navigating to mail.southwestern.edu.
After graduating or departing from Southwestern you’ll permanently lose all of your email, drive files, calendars, chats, etc. Please preserve your data by following all three sections of this guide.
Faculty and staff having issues with a university device should contact the Techdeck.
Please note that IT cannot operate on or repair personal devices. The Techdeck may be able to help resolve issues or best advise on how to take advantage of a device's warranty. Otherwise, IT recommends the following local repair shops.
