The purpose of extra credit is to provide additional opportunities for students who are already meeting expectations regarding completion of work and attending class.

It is not designed as a remedy for students who are not meeting classroom expectations.  

• No Students With Irregular Submission of Assignments | Students with three or more missing assignments in a marking period are not eligible for extra credit.  

• No Students With Irregular Attendance | Students who miss class frequently are not eligible for extra credit.  Students with unlawful absences are not eligible for extra credit.

All extra credit assignments are due the second-to-last week of each marking period.  This will allow the teacher time to grade the extra credit.
