This portfolio is comprised of my work as an artist throughout my four years at SLU. Beyond just art, my portfolio consists of my artist statement; outlining the mediums and topics I use as well as a link to my website, which I will continue to update as I make more work. The work in my portfolio varies drastically in both medium and content but always have a tone of curiosity and openness. Although I was unable to complete my most current work, there is still a visible growth in exploring and communicating ideas about identity, gender, environment, and mental health. My hope with my work is that people walk away with an openness to seeing the world in a new way.
Paige Biggus would like to thank their faculty sponsor Deborah Douglas for their support of this project.
Paige is a Studio Art major with a minor in Psychology. Paige's concentration is ceramics but they enjoy exploring new mediums. Topics Paige explores in their work include environmental issues, feminism, and mental health. Paige will continue making work post-grad and hope to eventually get my MFA.
