This March at the library we will be celebrating Women's History Month. Join us for our recurring programs as well as the following special events.

Celebrating Women's History: Family Tree Craft
Date and Time: Thursday, March 7th, 4:00-6:00pm
Description: Celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women throughout history with our engaging family tree craft program. During this interactive session, participants will have the opportunity to explore their family history and pay tribute to the influential women who have shaped their lives.
Gather with family members of all ages to embark on a journey of discovery as we delve into the rich tapestry of your family's heritage.
Come together with your loved ones to celebrate the women who have left an indelible mark on your family's history. Let's honor their legacy and inspire future generations with the stories of their strength and resilience.

Registration is required, and can be done online or in person. Registration is limited to the first 50 registrants, but there will be a wait list for those interested once registration is full.

Dog Man Book Party: a Paw-some Celebration
Date and Time: Saturday, March 23rd, 10:00am-12:00pm
Description: Calling all Dog Man fans! Join us for a Dog Man book party filled with fun activities, games, and adventures inspired by Dav Pilkey's beloved series.
Get ready for a tail-wagging good time at our Dog Man book party! Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the series, this event is perfect for kids who love action-packed adventures, hilarious humor, and, of course, our favorite crime-fighting canine hero, Dogman!
Don't miss out on this bark-tastic celebration of friendship, bravery, and laughter with Dogman and his pals. Grab your cape (or cape substitute) and join us for a howling good time at the library!

Book vs Movie: Which Cover is Better?
Date and Time: All month long, during open hours.
Description: Get ready to cast your vote in our Movie Cover vs. Book Cover showdown! This fun and interactive program invites kids to decide which cover they prefer for their favorite titles: the movie adaptation cover or the original book cover.
Do you judge a book by its cover? Now's your chance to weigh in on the debate! Join us for a passive program where kids can compare the movie adaptation covers and original book covers of popular titles and vote for their favorite designs.
Join us for this exciting opportunity to voice your opinion and see which covers come out on top in the ultimate Movie Cover vs. Book Cover showdown!
Voting results will be available at the Children's Information desk in April!
Staffing: 1 library staff to maintain the board.
Budget: n/a We will use supplies on hand to create the board and voting tools.
