I feel the earth's energy walking the woods in fivefinger shoes.
They also work well for practicing yoga on the platform out there;
Daily walks, yoga and photography are becoming a habit- each day brings better light and new blooms; I resist coming back inside and sometimes take a couple rounds.
The flying insects are still not a problem- most likely for only a couple more days...
Today I noticed that every photo I took was on the vertical: Lupine, Solomon's Plume, Blue Flag Iris, Wild Columbine, Blue-eyed Grass, Solomon's Seal, Virginia Waterleaf, the taller woodland plants are in bloom now.
There is a black frog in the pond with bronze markings on the sides, it gets along well with the green frogs. It has not yet provided me with a clever pose.
A couple creatures were eaten last night- a small frog on the front porch, and a bird in the woods.
All are welcome here, even predators, part of living in a natural yard.
