2015 July 29 - Living with nature

A few days ago, we woke up to find the base of a wooden sliding door chewed unmercifully.

Apparently, a chipmunk was trapped in our basement, and was determined to escape!

Luckily, a few days later, we were able to escort him out the open door- but that happy exit came after a lot of chasing around.

Chipmunks are fast and quite wary, traps are useless.
