Nebraska is a state located in both the Great Plains and Midwestern region of the United States. It is the 16th largest state at 77,358 square miles and the 37th most populated with just over 1.9 million residents. It was admitted as the 37th to the U.S. in 1867 and it is the only state who has a legislature that's unicameral and office nonpartisan. It was explored by the Lewis and Clark expedition along with many other historic trails.
