Thanks, once again, to Mandy Dance for updating our analysis of safe and unsafe Lafora litters from the Spring 2017 KC Breed Records Supplement.
This quarter, there were 53 safe and 3 unsafe litters. A "safe" litter is where there is no risk of Lafora-affected puppies being born.
This quarter:
56 litters producing 214 puppies.
27 litters with both parents clear for Lafora AND cord1 PRA.
14 litters where the sire is clear for Lafora and the dam is either a carrier or untested.
2 litters producing 5 puppies where neither parent was tested.
1 litter where both parents are known carriers producing 4 puppies
