Do you have a healthy Dachshund over the age of 10?

In 2011 we asked for DNA swab samples from dogs over the age of 10 who had no history of back problems. We still need more samples from additional Dachshunds to support our IVDD research programme.If you have a Dachshund over the age of 10 who has never had back problems (however minor), please e-mail ian@sunsong.co.uk and arrange to receive a cheek swab kit from the AHT. These samples will act as the “controls” in the research being carried out by the AHT. We are asking owners to make a small donation (£10) to the AHT to cover the cost of the swab kit and postage.
