Don't forget to report on your Dachshund's health

By the end of July 2011 we had collected health reports on 109 UK Dachshunds. We are receiving an average of 6 reports per month, all of which are helping build a picture of the health conditions the Breed Council needs to focus on. The more reports we have, including those of death as a result of old age, the better our knowledge of what to work on. It is important to note that the results do not necessarily reflect the prevalence of a particular health condition in Dachshunds overall which is why we will be launching a large-scale Breed Survey in 2012.
