Pantheists revere groups of related deities. Most people on Golarion are pantheists to some minor degree, as they offer prayers to deities other than their patrons when the other deity seems relevant to an important matter at hand, rather than relying solely on their chosen patron. However, a few carry this to its logical conclusion, adhering to a belief system that draws from the ideals of multiple gods to create a gestalt system that often resembles none of the component religions. Pantheons on Golarion include Archdevils, Demons, the Aescended, The Dwarven and Elven Pantheons, The Eldest, The Empyreal Lords, the Order of the Godclaw, the Sandpoint, Taldan, and Vudrani Pantheons.Building a Pantheist Priest
The pantheist priest worships not a single god, but a set of related deities, good and evil, male and female, various in their powers and their demands. Their chosen pantheon may be cultural, racial, or aligned in nature.
Class Prerequisite: Any divine class with channel divinity class feature. Clerics and paladins are the most common pantheist priests, using the power of multiple gods to serve their flock. Avengers are very rarely pantheist priests due to their unbending devotion to a single deity. Invokers are often pantheist priests, especially those followers of the Order of the Godclaw.
Race Prerequisite: None. A pantheist priest is as likely to be a human as an elf. The only thing pantheist priests have in common is their worship of a pantheon rather than a single deity. Note that if your pantheon is racial, you should have a very good reason for worshipping that pantheon if you are not of that race. It's a rare thing indeed for a dwarf to venerate the elf pantheon, for example!
Starting Feature
Benefit: When you create your character, instead of choosing one deity to worship, choose a pantheon from the list below. You are a priest of this pantheon. You count as worshiping all deities listed under your pantheon for the purposes of feats, powers, items, and class features. Note, however, that you may only apply one domain feat to an at-will power, as normal. You gain Power of the Pantheon in addition to the channel divinity powers granted by your class. After each extended rest, choose one patron god from your pantheon. When using Power of the Pantheon, you use the effect associated with the god you are worshiping that day (see each pantheon below for abilities).
