Backup

Overview

The Backup feature allows you to save a backup of all of your app data to a cloud storage provider and later restore all of your data.

This is incredibly useful if you're transitioning to a new device (even if it's an iOS device!). You can back up your data to one or more of the supported storage providers.

Enabling

By default, a storage provider is disabled and must be enabled. Simply click on the provider you want to enable follow the prompts to log in and give the app access to store its data in the provider.

Exporting

Once a storage provider is enabled, just hit the Export button to begin exporting all of your data. Once the export process completes, a dialog is shown with a summary of the operation.

Each piece of data that can be exported is reported as success, skipped (doesn't exist), or failure. Click on the description text to see more about the status of the item.

Importing

Once a storage provider is enabled, just hit the Import button to begin importing all of your data that was previously exported. Once the import process completes, a dialog is shown with a summary of the operation.

Each piece of data that can be imported is reported as success, skipped (didn't exist in the storage provider), or failure. Click on the description text to see more about the status of the item.

Disabling

If at any point you want to disable the app's access to a given storage provider, just hit the "X" button and confirm the action.

Any data previously exported will NOT be deleted and can be restored if you re-enable the provider for the same account.
