Trek planner won't work at all; says every address is outside the coverage area.

Eric Fail - It seems you're having issues with the app. Please read this FAQ.

Please understand that this is not the way to get help.

I played with the Trek Planner feature for quite some time. I was able to generate directions for each thing I searched.

So as far as I can tell, it works just fine, as intended.

Since you have not emailed me with details, I will have to make assumptions about what is wrong.

And I hate to do it, 'cause you know what happens when you ass-u-me ...

But you leave me no choice ... so here are some suggestions, guessing at what could be wrong.

Perhaps you entered generic addresses that appear in multiple cities - that won't work. You have to be more specific in this case.

Perhaps you left points A and B blank - that won't work. You have to enter addresses to get directions.

Perhaps you entered "A" and "B", literally, for point A and point B - that won't work. You have to enter addresses to get directions.

Perhaps you entered made up addresses, like "123 Fake St" and "789 Imaginary Ave" - that won't work. You have to enter real addresses to get directions.

Perhaps you entered "New York, NY" for point A and "Tokyo, Japan" for point B - that won't work. You have to enter real addresses in the Chicagoland area to get directions.

(Why would you think you could get public transit directions from New York to Tokyo, anyway!?)

Perhaps it works fine (does for me) and you are a pathological liar and have too much time on your hands - that's not cool. You have to be honest. Come on now.

If you email me with what you're searching for I can probably help you fix whatever problem you're having.

If you don't, no transit directions for you, apparently.

My Rating:

1-star rating on the Market complaining about issues won't work at all; every issue should be addressed directly to me in an email.
