The first mix of this track arrived here on April 4, 2020 and has since evolved into this one. The idea for the song occurred to me about ten days earlier as the thought that "Practice Safe Intersects" would make a timely bumper sticker. This is Mix 4 from April 13.
There is a YouTube video. You will find it below along with a poster by Chris Peterson (petersonland.com), who gave me the bass track for the recording. The audio player gives you a bit better sound quality than the video (256 vs 128 kb/sec).
The situation is not good, but sure could be worse. It's up to us. Stay safe everyone.

Lyrics
Do you practice safe intersects?
Do you keep your distance?
It’s the only thing that protects
When there is no resistance.
Don't want to spread it round.
It's a disaster.
Some way to slow it down
That's what we're after.
Do you practice safe intersects?
Can you make a difference?
You can't just disconnect.
Despite some insistence.
By Internet and phone.
Reach out to each other.
Keep family at home.
Worry ‘bout your mother.
Oh I'd love to have a fist-bump again
Or maybe a hug.
Some day there will come an end
To this damned bug.
Do you practice safe intersects?
How can you keep your balance?
When the President seems inept
Not up to the challenge.
We need leadership
Not more politicin’.
Watching the statistics.
We’re taking a lickin’.
So practice safe intersects.
Caution will protect you.
The way this bug infects.
That’s the best that you can do.
Until a cure is found
There’s reason to worry.
We are on shaky ground
And there’s reason to hurry.
Oh I'd love to have a high five again
Or maybe a hug.
I hope I will survive to see the end
Of this damned bug.
