Week 5, Oct 7, 2025
Today in class we honored the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary by singing Immaculate Mary. We honored last week's feast of St Francis with All Creatures of Our God and King. St Francis wrote the words of this beautiful hymn. Additionally we enjoyed Let All Things Now Living, John the Rabbit, and May the Circle Be Unbroken.
Have a blessed break!
Our Lady of the Rosary, please pray for us!!
Week 4, Sept 30, 2025
Sorry to be so late putting this up! On Tues in class we focused on our two current Angel feast days - Michaelmas/Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael and the feast of the Holy Guardian Angels, by singing the St Michael’s Harvest Song and the Guardian Angel Prayer.
Also, students received a music theory/note page in class. We spent a moment going over it - not enough time - but, if possible, have your student do it and they will learn from doing it. (maybe with help from mom or dad?) As always, please do enjoy singing our songs at home. You can look at recent posts to see what we have been doing. For extra copies or questions please email me at jrtabe@ymail.com

H.W. Sing the songs from class, particularly, The Garden Song, Simple Gifts, St Michael's Harvest Song, Let All Things Now Living. Also, try to do the theory page - I understand if you do not know how - I did not explain it. But, please try because you will begin to learn simply from trying to do it. Also, you can always email me with questions or to request a copy of the song sheet.
My email jrtabe@ymail.com. If you need copies or have questions, please feel free to email me:)
