Week 1: Today, we talked about the feast of the birth of Blessed Virgin Mary which was celebrated on September 8th. Students made a mini grotto using popsicle sticks and a variety of stones and gems for Mary!

Week 2: Today, we discussed the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows and students colored in a sheet of the 7 sorrows of Our Lady. They spent the rest of class painting their own rosary holders.

Week 3: We began class by learning about St. Hildegard of Bingen and talked about her many books she wrote on natural remedies using herbs. We then painted pots, and the students planted their own herbs to take home and grow!

Week 4: For this week's craft, we made sacrifice beads after learning about how St. Therese would use hers to offer up "gifts" for God throughout her day. We also had time to color in a sheet of St. Michael and have a sweet treat in celebration of Michaelmas!
