So far the students have received the following songs for their binders: The Garden Song, Simple Gifts, St Michael's Harvest Song. Please use these copies for singing the songs at home.
Homework: Sing the following songs at home: The Garden Song, Simple Gifts, Let All Things Now Living(sorry you don't have a copy of that one yet.), St Michael's Harvest Song. Also, take a look at the theory page, and see what you can do with it.

Students had a delightful class today, singing, listening, and playing games, including;

Students noticed the picture of St Cecilia that Mrs Carter keeps in her violin case, and had a lovely conversation about St Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians.
Students also very much enjoyed learning more about the musical scale - both listening and singing it, as Mrs Carter used her violin to teach them! Thank you so very much Mrs Carter for sharing your expertise!!
Papers received in class: The Garden Song, Simple Gifts, St Michael Song, Theory pages
Homework:
Sing the St Michael Song, The Garden Song, Simple Gifts, and Let All Things Now Living. Students received paper copies of these except for Let All Things Now Living in class, and memorized the first couple of lines of St Michael Song, The Garden Song and Let All Things Now Living, so please keep the memorization fresh by singing them at home, or simply repeating the parts they memorized. Additionally, complete the theory pages given out in class.
