Arachnides - Myriapodes - Hexapodes


Commentaires

Chélicérates - Les Chélicérates correspondent maintenant aux anciens Chélicériformes (i.e. Pycnogonides inclus).

Arachnides - Les études récentes montrent majoritairement (mais pas toutes) que les Xiphosures ne seraient pas le groupe frère des Arachnides, mais se placeraient au sein des Arachnides. Les Arachnides constitueraient donc un groupe paraphylétique. Le terme Arachnides est cependant conservé, mais inclurait désormais les Xiphosures et devrait être pris comme synonyme de Euchélicérates (par ailleurs aussi synonyme de l'ancien terme Chélicérates, i.e. tous les Arthropodes à chélicères sauf les Pycnogonides).

"crustacés" - Il fait désormais consensus que les anciens Crustacés sont paraphylétiques, car les Hexapodes en sont une branche dérivée. Quasiment tous les groupes traditionnels des anciens Crustacés ont été confirmés comme étant monophylétiques, sauf les Maxillopodes (Branchioures + Pentastomides + Mystacocarides + Copépodes + Thécostracés).

Ostracodes - Les Ostracodes sont régulièrement retrouvés paraphylétiques, le plus souvent car les Mystacocarides en seraient un clade dérivé. Nous continuons à considérer les Ostracodes monophylétiques pour le moment.

Multicrustacés - L'hypothèse la plus fréquemment retrouvée est celle d'un clade (Malacostracés, Thécostracés), mais elle est encore bien fragile.

Allotriocarides - Les deux hypothèses concurrentes sont (Céphalocarides, (Branchiopodes, (Rémipèdes, Hexapodes))) et (Branchiopodes, ((Céphalocarides, Rémipèdes), Hexapodes)). Les Branchiopodes ont parfois été retrouvés plus proches des Multicrustacés (le clade (Branchiopodes, Multicrustacés) étant appelé Véricrustacés) que des autres Allotriocarides (alors appelés Miracrustacés).
