St. Patricks Food Ministry
Make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the St. Patricks Food Ministry
Sign up for making either 100 sandwiches for Malden or 150 sandwiches for Boston location. The sandwiches go to people who are attending community dinners in those towns and they give these out to people to take home afterwards. Sandwiches should be individually wrapped. Once you make them, you need to deliver them to St. Patrick's Rectory the night before or the day they will be using them, and leave them downstairs in the basement of the rectory. You don't have to speak to them inside the rectory if you go during the day. There is a door, which is on the parking lot side of the rectory building, directly next to the 3 car garage door, that is unlocked all day long. Go inside and go through the first outer room (storage) and put your boxes on a long table that is in the second room. The food group will pick them up and deliver them from there. Email Peg Binda-Foley (mbindafoley@aol.com) for more information.

Erin's Afghans
http://www.massyouthinaction.org.
The purpose of this project is to provide foster children with something that they can carry from home to their new foster home. The project is twofold - Erin accepts donated afghans or quilts for these children, and also carrying bags with essentials that each child might need. Our troop plans on making one quilt together, and is currently running a donation drive for the following items:
toothbrush/toothpaste
hairbrush/shampoo/soap
underwear/socks
books/stuffed animals/deck of cards/small toys
