Below is all the information, regarding the upcoming Girl Scout PowderPuff Derby,( similar to the boy scout Pinewood Derby), which is being run by Stoneham Boy Scout Troop 513 for Stoneham Girl Scouts. This is a great way for girl scouts and boy scouts come together for a fun event. The flyer is attached.

This very popular event will be held on Saturday February 8, 2014, at the First Congregational Church in Stoneham. Scouts should plan to come with a parent or the whole family, to enjoy watching their own car race.

Registration will take place on Wed January 8 , from 7pm-8:30pm at the First Congregational Church Hall. You will also pick up your car when you register. This is not a troop event, so girls will register and pick up their car kit.

A Car Clinic will be Sunday January 12th from 3-6 for those who would like assistance cutting out their car in shape chosen.

Races will take place on Saturday, February 8th.

Race times: Daisy/Brownies 11:00-12:30

Junior thru Ambassador 12:30 - 2:00pm

They will hold a Weigh-in for the cars on the Wednesday prior, Feb 5th, from 7-8:30.
