Hello everyone,
This is the first e-mail of many you will receive with cookie news. It was great to meet so many of you this week and I wish you a successful cookie selling season:

At this point all of you should be a Registered Adult and have signed a CORI in the last 2 years. (It's good for 3 years) If anyone still needs to do this please let me know.
The Volunteer Agreement is attached. If you haven't already signed one, please print and return to me at 20 West St, Stoneham.
You will also want to check with your leaders to make sure all of your troops parents have signed the Annual Girl Permission Form. (search the below GS of Eastern MA website if you need it). This is super important as it's your first safety net for parents to financially take responsibility for cookies once they pick it up from you. Along with getting them to sign a receipt.
On December 1, your troop roster will be uploaded to QuickBase. You do not need to add the girls names now. If you do not see any newly registered girls at that point, you may add them.
QuickBase may be accessed by:
http://www.girlscoutseasternmass.org/cookies/ , look on the right hand side under "Important Links and Updates" and click on "QuickBase Cookie System". You may also search for documents like the new Shout Out Flyer etc.
Please also take a moment to review the new Volunteer Essentials: http://www.girlscoutseasternmass.org/forms/Volunteer-Essentials-2010-GSEM.pdf
This Online document replaces the SafetyWise Book that troop leaders used. Chapter 5 lists safety info regarding cookie sales.
http://www.abcsmartcookies.com/default.asp will give you tons of Volunteer resources. Also don't forget you can create a user name for your daughter and send e-mails to friends and family asking for cookie sales! (If you use this, girls will need to either print their orders or hand write them over to their order card before they hand them in to you. ) Search around till you find a "log in" box. It's not easy to find.
Have a great weekend,
Wendy Porter
