Cookie Training Update

Post date: Nov 17, 2010 8:41:17 PM

Firstly I would like to say thank you for so many well-wishes that have been sent. I look forward to being of service to you this cookie season! There are some new highlights this year that I'm excited to share with you on Wednesday!

A few tips about the mandatory training:

*Please make sure at least one person is reperesented from your troop. Leaders and Cookie Advisors are welcome!

*The Cookie Advisor you appoint for your troop must be a Registered Adult and have a CORI background check done. (CORI'S are good for 3 years. If you are unsure please do it again.) Also, if you are expecting to have a different person (like husband or family member)pick up the cookies on delivery day, that contact also needs to be a Registered Adult AND CORI approved too, so please think ahead.

*Lisa Jordan will be present at our training to approve CORI's. PLEASE BRING A VALID DRIVERS LICENCE OR PASSPORT and form already filled out.

*The attached forms should be printed (also on the ) http://www.girlscoutseasternmass.org/ website if applicable to your Cookie Advisor and brought with them that night:

*CORI form

*Adult Registration form with $12 Adult Registration fee-checks written to GSEM.

*Cookie Advisor job description to sign and hand in on Wednesday.

*For Daisy Leaders: Daisies ARE eligible to sell. Even if you want to just do booth sales. If you are reluctant to take this on due to age or "newness" of troop. Please call me.

*Please forward this e-mail to your Cookie Advisor or to any new troops that you think might not be on the Yahoo group yet. On the 17th, I will take a list of e-mails so I can communicate seperately.

Dont hesitate to contact me anytime if you have questions or concerns before then.

Many thanks,

Wendy Porter
