“Light body” is a term we use to describe the spiritual, non-physical body associated with enlightenment. 

“光體”是一個我們用來描述與開悟有關的，靈性的、非實際的身體用的詞彙。

The Light Body is a radiant energy field within and around the physical body. Its development is the result of Spiritual Evolution, and happens as the Divine presence within overshadows, and transforms the ego consciousness.   As this process evolves, the physical body is transmuted into an immortal body of light that is also physical.  Three stages of Light Body evolution occur within the layers of the Aura: 1) The mental layer a transforms into the Body of Wisdom; 2) The emotional layer transforms into Body of Unconditional Love; 3) The physical body transforms into the Immortal Body of Light.

光體是一個在肉身內與周圍發光的能量場。它的發展是靈性演化的結果，發生於當內在神聖的展現遮去並且轉變自我意識。當這個過程展開時，肉身被質變為一個不朽的光的身體，但也還是實體的。光體發展的三個階段發生在Aura層內：1) 心智層轉變成智慧的身體；2) 情緒層轉變成無條件的愛的身體；3) 肉體轉變成永恆的光體。  

Light Body is an Ancient Teaching:  These teachings are not “New Age”.  Light Body is an ancient concept present in every culture and age.   Each Spiritual tradition and culture has their own name for Light Body. In Buddhist and Christian religious teachings, those who have come close to manifesting the Light Body are called “Saints.”   The term “Light Body” or “Rainbow Body” is found in ancient Tibetan Buddhist teachings.  It is called Jalü or Jalus (Wylie 'ja' lus) and is defined as a body not made of flesh, but of pure light. The Rainbow Body is also mentioned in some Mahayana Sutras.

光體是古老的教導：這些教導不是“新時代”。光體是一種出現在所有文化與時期的古老概念。每一個靈性傳統和文化都有他們自己稱呼光體的名字。在佛教和基督教的教誨中，那些接近彰顯光體的人被叫做“聖人”。“光體”或者“彩虹身體”這個名詞被發現在古老的西藏佛教教導中。它被稱作Jalü或Jalus (Wylie 'ja' lus)並且被定義為一個不是由血肉構成的身體，而是有純粹的光所構成。彩虹身體也在某些大乘經典中被提及。

Here are more names for Light Body:  In Taoism, the Light Body is called the “Diamond Body” and those who have attained it are called the “Immortals” or the “Cloud Walkers”. Kriya Yoga refers to it as the “The Body of Bliss.”  It is the Most Sacred Body or Wujud Al-Aqdas in Sufism.   In yoga teachings, it is called "the Vajra Body," "the Adamantine Body," and "the Divine Body.  In ancient Egypt it was called "Akh” which means the luminous body or being. In Old Persia it was called Fravashi or Fravarti which translates as "the Indwelling Divine Potential".

In the Qabalah, the Light Body is called Adam Kadmon, which means the Divine God Human.  The teachings of Alchemy call the Light Body “Alchemical Gold” or “Antimony.”  The focus of Alchemy is NOT creating magic potions, but to transform seekers into the Body of Light! Whatever we call it, Light Body describes the same thing, an ULTIMATE stage in human evolution!

在卡巴拉中，光體被叫做Adam Kadmon，意思是神人。煉金術的教學稱光體為“煉金術之金”或者“Antimony”。煉金術的焦點不是在創造魔法藥方，而是將尋找者轉變為光體！無論我們怎麼稱呼它，光體描述了同一樣東西，一種人類演化的終極階段！

How to Develop Your Light Body:  Most traditions believe the Light Body is present within the individual from birth, and the gross matter of the body simply burns" away as more light enters through spiritual evolution.   Other traditions believe the matter of the body is altered through a process which changes the flesh into something different.  Modern concepts about Light Body Activation are that infusions of light activate certain cells in our bodies as well as our higher consciousness, causing the resultant changes.  Mystery Schools teach that Initiations are infusions of light, of higher and higher frequencies, giving greater capacities. Most methods for Light Body Activation contain elements of Initiation and infusions of light. 

如何發展你的光體：多數傳統相信光體在出生時就已經存在於個人內在，當越多的光透過靈性進化進入，身體的粗糙物質部份就會燃燒掉。其他的傳統相信身體的物質透過一種程序被改變，將血肉轉換成其他不一樣的東西。現代有關光體活化的概念是，光的注入活化了身體中的特定細胞，以及我們的更高意識，引起變化的結果。神秘學院教導啟蒙就是注入光，越來越高的頻率，給予更大的容量。大多數光體活化的方法都包含了啟蒙和注入光的元素。

My research suggests that Light Body Development requires BOTH processes; Spiritual Development and infusions of light or Initiation.  Any Light Body method that fits into either category is valid!

我的研究指出，光體發展需要兩種程序；靈性發展和光的注入或者啟蒙。任何光體方法只要符合這兩種就是有效的！

At this time, many teachers and metaphysical organizations offer unique Light Body activation services as well as Spiritual training. There is tremendous variety and potential in these services!  Some offer geometric activations, others offer sound activations. Some specialize in “inner work” merging your consciousness with the Higher Self in meditation. Some schools offer physical activations of the etheric or energy body to achieve activation of the potential that is ever present within the Soul. Some schools seek to evolve the individual through discipline and a life of service. 

現在，許多導師和形而上學組織提供獨特的光體活化服務，以及靈性訓練。這些服務的種類繁多且潛力無窮！有些提供幾何活化，其他的提供聲音活化。有些專長在“內在工作”在冥想中將你的意識與高我整合在一起。有些學校提供實體的乙太體或者能量體活化，以達到在靈魂內存在的潛能的啟動。有些學校尋求透過紀律和一種服務的生活讓個人進化。

I suggest you use your intuitive sense of what is the most important step for you at this stage in your evolution, and you will be guided perfectly as you work toward Light Body evolution! Any one of the Light Body initiations or activations is a remarkable step forward in evolution, and valid in activating the Body of Light.

我建議你們使用直覺來找出在你此刻的進化階段中，什麼對你是最重要的步驟，而你在朝向光體進化努力時，將會被完美地引導！任何光體啟蒙或者活化，都是了不起的一步，朝向進化邁進，且對於活化光體都是有效的。

However Light Body is achieved, this perfected individual is capable of operating within the ordinary world through a vehicle of consciousness which is beyond normal human capacity.  The essential gift we receive as a result of developing the Light Body is to create the union between the higher consciousness and the physical consciousness, allowing one to live as an evolved being of higher awareness. Every Spiritual tradition considers this a worthy goal for all Seekers!  For humankind, this is thought to be the final stage of evolution and each person to reach Light Body opens the door for all Humankind to achieve the same feat! 

無論透過何種方法達到光體，這個完美的個體能夠在平常世界中透過超越常人能力的意識載具運作。這個透過發展光體而得來的精華禮物，是用來創造在更高意識和實際意識之間的結合，允許一個人能以進化過的更高覺知來活著。每一種靈性傳統都認為這是所有尋找者所值得的目標！對人類來說，這被認為是進化的最後階段，每個達到光體的人都為全體人類打開了達成同樣境界的一扇門！

Imagine yourself as a being made of living light.  For just a moment, close your eyes and focus on an inner vision of yourself as pure, radiant light.   Imagine that version of yourself that is pure light has all the Spiritual abilities present, perfect health, tremendous creativity, great intellect, and divine beauty.  It is also a perfected replica of your body.  It looks like you, sounds like you, feels like you do, this body even smells like you, however that is somehow a higher aspect of your presence.  Take a moment and work to create this inner vision using your 5 senses. Use your hearing, seeing or imagining, feeling, smelling, and sense of taste to make your vision of yourself as a being of light as real as possible.  

想像你自己是一個充滿生氣的光的個體。就只要那麼一刻，閉上你的眼睛，專注在你自身的內在視覺，看見你自己是一個純粹的，發亮的光。想像那個純粹的光的自己，擁有所有靈性能力，擁有完美的健康，了不起的創造力，很高的智力，和神聖的美麗。這也是一個你的身體的完美複製。它看起來像你，聽起來像你，像你一樣感覺，這個身體甚至聞起來也像你，然而這是一個你的存在的更高層面。花一點時間，努力創造這個內在的影像，使用你的五感。使用你的聽覺，看見或想像，感覺，嗅覺，味覺，讓你的光體影像盡可能像真的一樣。

Now, with your inner vision, change your physical body to a shining body of light.  Make your physical being transform into the Light body.  You might want to imagine pulling the radiant light being down into the middle of your body.  Then imagine matching your physical fingers to light fingers, toes to toes, and so on.  Once the two are merged, your Light Body will stretch and grow beyond your physical structures, reaching into the energy field around you.  

現在，用你的內在視覺，將你的肉身改變成一個發光的光體。讓你的實際身體轉變成光體。你可能會想要想像將光體吸入引入身體中。然後想像將你肉身的手指貼合光體的手指，腳趾貼合，以此類推。一旦兩者合而為一，你的光體將會伸展並成長超越你的肉體結構，達到你身邊能量場的範圍。

The light is soft and radiant.  Your Light body may seem to be the same as your physical body, but finer, more fluid, and full of radiating light.  The light from your body moves out into the world changing every thing it touches.   Expand your light body to reach everyone you love, all the places that are part of your everyday life, and finally all the world. 

這光是柔軟和明亮的。你的光體可能會看起來跟你的肉身一樣，但是更細緻，更流動，充滿發亮的光。這從你身體發出的光往外移動進入世界，改變了它碰觸到的每一樣事物。擴展你的光體去碰觸每一個你愛的人，所有你日常生活的地方，最後是整個世界。

Light Body Activation generally are infusions of light, which then activate certain cells in our body, as well as activate our higher consciousness, causing the resultant changes.  Initiations are infusions of light, of higher and higher frequencies, giving greater capacities.  Most methods of Light Body Activation offered at this time contain elements of Initiation and fulfill the requirement of infusions of light.
