This second installment of Musical Theatre Production saw a few changes.
First, we adopted the name we call ourselves, SHOREWOOD DRAMA JUNIOR, for the first time.
Second, and also for the first time our class did a non-original summer musical, presenting Disney's 101 Dalmatians Kids: The Musical through special permission from Musical Theatre International (MTI.)
Third, the players presented the show three times instead of just once.
Fourth, we had two teachers for the class. One was the director/choreographer/costume designer and the other was the technical director/set designer/musical director.
Fifth, we had students who specifically worked as technicians, building and painting the set and running the show as running crew.
The nearly 40-kid cast and 9 crew members worked tirelessly to create one of our most popular and well-attended shows in Shorewood Drama Jr. history at that time.
