二十一世紀,藉由資訊科技的力量,突破了傳統的學習模式,使學習充滿了無限的可能,進入了數位學習的時代。學生的學習需要動機,例如來自於對學習內容的好奇、興趣、方便性與自身的需要性。數位科技提供了學習者教室外的豐富學習環境,讓學習者較不受時空的限制,使教學環境不再拘限於課堂上的傳授。將好的學習內容,製作成能引人興趣的教材,配合數位學習理論與網路科技的發展,能讓學習者能在數位學習的領域中自主的學習。數位學習能否讓學習者產生興趣,除了需要有好的科技技術外,教材內容的創意、吸引力與實用性更是決定成功與否的關鍵。
中草藥淵遠流長,沿用數千年,長久以來融入民眾日常生活之中,被廣泛運用在預防、保健、治療等多種領域,是我國相當重要的醫療資產。在經過現代科技的分析實驗,中草藥的療效更加被確定,證明其包含豐富經驗和理論知識,為我國在醫藥方面的高度成就。此研究共分為三大部分。第一部分,另外收錄了中草藥資料庫,內容共分兩個章節,包括第一章「中草藥」及第二章「方劑」。在第一章「中草藥」部分共分六小節,內容包括瞭解何為中草藥中毒、中草藥中毒的原因及預防中草藥中毒的方法,並有六十二種藥材各論。在藥材各論中分別有敘述藥材用藥部位、臨床運用及用藥安全,其內容能夠學習到中草藥的知識及瞭解中草藥不同的特性。第二章「方劑」介紹常用的中草藥之單方或複方,內容包括藥材的組成、臨床應用及用藥安全,使學習者對常見方劑的組成及運用能有更深的瞭解。第二部分,在於設計「神農傳奇」之數位學習遊戲,以角色扮演的方式,進行用藥安全之探索遊戲。以3D的學習介面,刺激學生自發的內在學習動機。與一般數位遊戲不同的是「神農傳奇」奠定在正確的中草藥用藥知識與用藥安全上。第三部份,在於利用主題地圖相關的文字探勘技術,針對十萬份以上的資料文獻,自動編製以XML為基礎、符合SCORM規範的教學教材。將中草藥知識與數位學習結合,發展出數位學習遊戲,並將中草藥以知識管理系統資訊來支援教學,從學術理論的角度,證明電腦輔助教學的可能性與可行性。
At the dawn of twenty-first century, information technology has complimented the traditional teaching methods, and extended the possibility of learning. In the digital learning age, students require more learning motivations to succeed, which include curiosity and interests to learning content, convenience to the use of resources, and internal needs. Digital technology has sufficed such needs to provide resourceful learning environment outside of classrooms. Without the limits of time and space, learning has become ubiquitous. To provide good digital learning content, e-learning theories and network learning technologies are to be applied to encourage self-sufficient learning. The key is creativity and practicality of learning content.
Chinese herbs have been an important Chinese medical assets, used for thousands of years, and have become part of everyone’s everyday life. They have widely used in three aspects, namely illness prevention, recovery from disease, and health maintenance. With the medical analysis and extracts by modern technology, Chinese herbs have gained high credibility in theory and practical uses. This research has three parts. The first part is Chinese herb database. The database include two chapters. The first chapter is Chinese Herbs, with six sections including topics such as definitions of herbs, factors for herb poisons, and preventions to herb poisons, as well as 62 kinds of herbs introduction. In every herb introduction, there are descriptions of medication use and safety. The second chapter is Chinese herbal medication formula, simple and complex. The second part is to design a role-play digital learning game, Shannon, to allow users explore Chinese medication safety. Using 3D learning interface, we aim to stimulate students’ intrinsic learning motivation. Different from traditional computer games, Shannon is based on approved professional Chinese herb medication. The third part is to use SOM text-mining technology to analyze more than one hundred thousand data articles and generate teaching materials conforming XML and SCORM. By integrating Chinese herb knowledge and digital technology, we demonstrated the design and production of digital learning games, and used information knowledge system to support teaching and learning. From the academic theoretical aspect, we exhibit the possibility and viability of computer-medicated teaching and learning.
