此計畫延伸既有複合式桌遊機制,設計社會性科學議題探究遊戲(socioscientific issue inquiry game, SSIIG),以G5為主軸整合五個教學元素:Game (遊戲)、Goals (目標)、Geography (地圖)、Group (群組)、Gadget (科技),進行跨域課程與教材設,以達到5G學習面成效,其中包括:Green (環保生態)、Growth (教育成長)、Gauge (量測計算)、Graph (圖表關係模型)、Govern (決策管理)。<城市天平>以SDGs為核心,引導學生從在地單一事件出發,探討自然、生態、人為環境的息息相關,在開發與否、經濟成長目標、人為介入過程、環境平衡等進行多端、多元、多因、多面之動態互動探究歷程影響與變化結果。此外,遊戲結合引導式與開放式的探究歷程。遊戲課程中,以大地圖整合遊戲物件與感應晶片連結GIS遙測與真實開放資料,呈現於遊戲系統上,乃前瞻科技整合模式與創新之處。以學習測驗、自製問卷與標準量表進行施測,評估學生對於社會性科學議題的理解程度;輔以遊戲觀察與訪談,瞭解學生進行遊戲時的探究歷程,分析學生遊戲競合的互動過程,評量其學習成效,以及小組與跨組間彼此的影響性與相關性。另外,分析學生對於圖、表、文、影音、地圖等媒介的內容訊息判讀,為多重表徵識讀的能力分析。因此,透過遊戲情境,結合角色扮演、探究調查與溝通論證,全面性的提升學生的跨域素養能力。
This project extends the existing complex board games into socioscientific issue inquiry game (SSIIG) with G5 instructional design: game, goals, geography, group, and gadget to reach learning effects, including Green, Growth, Gauge, Graph, and Govern. <City Auncel> starts with SDGs-oriented event allowing students to explore the inter-relationships of nature, ecology, people, and environment. Students learn to understand the ties between urban development, economic growth, human intervention, and environmental balance. The dynamic interactive inquiry process and influences are multi-ends, multi-variants, multi-factors, and multi-dimensional. Therefore, this game combines guided inquiry model and open inquiry model. In the inquiry game, the big game map is integrated with sensor chips connecting with GIS remote sensing and government real open data which is presented on the gaming system. It is the integration with the innovative technology. Learning tests, self-stated questionnaire, and standardized scales are used to evaluate students understanding and perceptions to socioscientific issues. Gaming observations and interviews to understand students' gaming process and cooperative interactions, learning effectiveness, and intra-/inter-groups influences. Other than that, students' awareness and literacy to multiple representations, such as tables, charts, videos, maps, are analyzed. Therefore, using gaming scenarios and role-plays are designed to enhance students' interdisciplinary literacy, such as investigations, communication, and argumentation.
