Granola
3 cups rolled oats
2cups combined seeds and chopped nuts
1/2 tsp of salt
1/3 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup canola oil (this is way too much oil reduce to 1/2 cup next time)
1/2 cup honey (kitul honey works fine)
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 cup assorted dried fruit
Preheat oven to 325F.
combine oats, seeds and nuts, salt, and brown sugar.
combine oil, honey, and vanilla and pour over dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly and spread on the prepared tray.
Bake for 30 mins or until golden ( stier it once or twice dureing baking)
Add dried fruit once its cooled down and is crunchy. Store in air tight container (freezer for max freshness).
