Brownies
9" by 13" dish (glass)
NOTE: this recipe did not work with the 1lb of chocolate!
Ingredients:
6 oz unsalted butter
1 lb bittersweet chocolate chopped (sub half quantity with cocoa powder)
4.5 oz flour
5 large eggs
14 oz light brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 F. Butter glass baking dish.
Melt butter. Remove from heat. Add chocolate. Allow chocolate to melt. Set aside to cool.
Combine eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat on high (4 to 5 mins.)
Using rubber spatula fold in cooked chocolate mixture.
Add flour and fold in quickly but gently.
Bake about 25 mins.
keeps in airtight container, in cool place, up to a week.
