Local workshops coming up on climate action

Five community workshops are coming up to explain what the City of Boston is doing to address climate change and to solicit input on how to reduce environmental impacts and improve the city's livability.

The nearest workshop to Roslindale is Monday, March 8, at the West Roxbury Elks club. 5:30-8:30 p.m. Others are:

• February 27 (for youth), at the Old South Church, 645 Boylston Street in Boston from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the Old South Church
• Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Metcalf Ballroom in the George Sherman Union at Boston University
• Wednesday, March 15, 2010 at the Roxbury Center for the Arts at Hibernian Hall
