Broughton Loop (6.2 miles)

Start and finish in Broughton (SU308 330). There is a pleasant pub to either start or finish with in the centre opposite the church and they seem to like dogs there.

we followed the Clarendon Way up as far as the Roman road then looped back along quiet roads and bye ways. Some good views, but these tend to be glimpses as the bye-ways have high hedges along them. My favourite part was the initial climb up to Smith's plantation through a tunnel of yew trees.
