Ampfield Church

Start from the Ampfield Church car park. This walk takes you through the Ampfield Church nature area, through the Hillier's Tree Nursery and into Ampfield Wood.

From the church car park, take the path round the left hand edge of the graveyard and the church. The church grounds have been made into a mini-nature reserve. Turn left after the church and head towards and beyond the pond.

When the path reaches the road, turn right. Then, at the junction, turn right again. A little way along is a footpath on the left, through to the Hillier tree nursery. Follow the footpath through this and into the woods.

At the gravel track, turn right and keep going until the next track. Turn right again and continue until you reach the road.

Turn right, back up the road until you find a narrow footpath on the left. This takes you back to the car park.
