Reply to Mu Sis on What I Am Doing for the Mu in COVID19 Crisis

20apri7

Arachelle Jose Dear Brod Rey. We have learned that you have an independent fundraising going. Bravo.

My reply (20apr7):

I am helping RHUs and provincial government hospitals outside MetroCities (NCR, Cebu and Davao). Those are my personal priorities now, as I see they lack PPE the most. I have done my share of helping PGH already. I was ready to fund the PPEs for the PGH Triage for COVID19 but I had to call it off because the interns and undergrads were not allowed to be there. I was ready to have my donors donate 5 units of ventilators to PGH but I had to call off when I was told PGH has enough ventilators already. My donors are my trusted patients and friends and Xavier School classmates. On my own though with some amount of indirect prodding from Ishwar (when he told not to forget MU in my personal advocacy), I decided to carry Mu Relief with me in my project with the intention of promoting Mu nationwide, because my project is going nationwide. Note: I got the blessing and go-signal of the Executive Council on March 29, 2020 through Brod Jose Marcel Magno. I started working on the project right after I got the go-signal from the EC. I asked HelpThru to help me. Actually, even before March 29, 2020, I have been working with HelpThru since March 17, 2020. It has delivered my PPE donations to about 90 hospitals all over the country. By the way, a co-founder of HelpThru is the daughter-in-law of my batchmate Justo (Toti) Danguilan. She is very reliable and trustworthy. I have to tell you one more thing which I have been telling the Mus who have volunteered to Mu Relief Coordinators in the RHU and provincial government hospitals. I told them that what I have in mind also, you can say an ulterior motive, aside from promoting MU in the COVID19 crisis, is to lay the ground work for a nationwide Mu Relief Teams or Mu Disaster Teams. The plan is to have a Mu Disaster Team in each province or city in the country ready to respond to medical surge, patient surge or disaster, immediately (without waiting for the Mu Relief in UPCM) and carrying the banner of Mu or Mu Relief. There will be a networking of the Mu Disaster Teams such that Mu Disaster Teams from another city /other cities or province/s not affected by the disaster are ready to proceed, to go, to help and to support the exhausted Mu Disaster Team in the affected city or province. That's the backgrounder of my ROJDonors+MuRelief+HelpThru Against COVID19 for RHUs and Provincial Government Hospitals (outside Metrocities).
