What You’ll Create:

We have a full day to enjoy the sculpting process. Using a combination of slab-building and coiling techniques, we will construct the body and head of your hare. This project offers a wonderful opportunity to explore different hand-building methods that are applicable to a wide range of pottery projects.

Your Artistic Choice - One of the best parts of this workshop is the creative freedom it offers:

Stylised Hare: You can choose to create a sleek, stylized version designed to be a little easier to construct while still capturing the essence of the animal.

Realistic Hare: If you’re feeling more adventurous, you can use your artistic flair to aim for a more realistic, detailed finish.

To complete your masterpiece, you will have a choice of gloss or matt finishes and various glaze options to suit your personal style.

Workshop Details:

All materials, tools, and professional firing are supplied. We will take a break for lunch at 1:00 PM (you can take 30 minutes or a full hour). You are welcome to bring a packed lunch to the studio or head out to a local cafe. Please remember to bring an apron to protect your clothes!

Please Note: Your handcrafted hare will need time to dry thoroughly before being fired in my kiln. Your finished sculpture will be ready for collection from the venue approximately two to three weeks after the workshop.

Duration: Full Day (6 hours), Includes: All materials, tools, and professional firing.

Please note lunch is not included- please bring your own lunch with you but tea and coffee are provided.
