Workshops

Here are details of previous workshops I have run. If you would like a private workshop I can do any of these.

Tealight House 

Ideally a full day workshop or can be a half day if I bring pre rolled clay. 

During this workshop you will learn to slab build a small house from either white or black stoneware clay to a design of your choice. Templates of different designs and shapes will be provided. You can use foliage and/or stamps to add texture to decorate and personalise your house. Finally, we will cut doors and windows to allow the light from a tealight to spill out.

All techniques will be demonstrated, and all materials and equipment supplied. This is a more skilled workshop but still suitable for anyone including beginners.

Using black stoneware clay is perfect for a spooky halloween house or a rustic organic look.

Please remember all items made at a workshop cannot be taken home on the day. Your pottery will need to be dried, fired and glazed. They will be ready to collect at your convenience from the venue or delivered to one address approximately 2-3 weeks later.
