Make a pumpkin or gourd of your choice. Learn how to make a simple pinch pot from clay. Then create two pinch pots and join them together to form a sphere, which will become your pumpkin. Add a stem and leaves for a natural, realistic finish. Alternatively, add a pattern of holes to accommodate a tea light and create a glowing pumpkin. You can even carve a face to transform it into a jack-o'-lantern if desired.

This workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced potters who can explore their creativity. We will be using terracotta clay to enhance the vibrancy of orange and red glazes. You'll have the opportunity to choose a colour for your finished pumpkin.

All materials and equipment are provided together with tea and coffee.

PLEASE NOTE: The items cannot be taken home on the day. Your pumpkin will need to be dried, fired, and glazed. They will be ready for collection at your convenience from the venue 2-3 weeks later.
