Textured Autumnal Tealight House
Celebrate the changing season by crafting a cosy, glowing luminary in our Textured Autumnal House Pottery Workshop!
Using a warm black stoneware clay, you will learn slab-building techniques to construct a charming little house to a design of your choice. Create a wonderfully rustic autumn cottage, or lean into the spooky season by transforming your piece into a delightfully crooked Halloween haunted house complete with eerie details!
Both styles feature cut-out doors and windows, allowing the warm, flickering light of a tealight to spill out through the walls.
Templates for various designs will be provided alongside full step-by-step instructions and demonstrations. You can use natural foliage, stamps, and textures to personalise your house with an organic, earthy feel.
Important Note on Collection
Because your pottery needs time to dry, be fired, and be glazed, you won’t be able to take your house home on the day. Once everything is finished, I will bring your piece back to the venue for you to collect at your convenience approximately 2 to 4 weeks later (waiting for you right next door at Turner's art supply shop).
